Import Export Members

JW Scheduler strongly believes your congregation and member data is your own, and you should be able to Import and Export your data as you wish.

Therefore, JW Scheduler supports Importing and Exporting Members into a variety of common file formats.

Import Members

It is possible to Import Members from Hourglass App, TSWin, CLM Explorer or CSV file into an existing JW Scheduler congregation.

  • Note: At this time, it is not possible to import members from KHS into an existing congregation. You can only import from KHS when setting up a new congregation. Please see Import Congregation from KHS
  • Note: To Merge or Split two JW Scheduler Congregations, please see Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Click Members > Import/Export button
  2. Under Import, first create a Backup of your data
  3. Choose to either:
    1. Import Members from CLM Explorer, or
    2. Import Members from TSWin, or
    3. Import Members from Hourglass, or
    4. Import Members from CSV file
  4. Carefully follow the provided instructions.
  5. Repeat if you need to Import from multiple programs.
  • Note: Data might not import perfectly, due to some data incompatibilities between JW Scheduler and other programs. However you should find most data imports correctly.

Export Members to CSV

  1. Select Members
  2. Set the Member and Group Filters to display the specific members you want to Export.
  3. Click Members > Export button.
  4. Under Export, click To CSV file.
  5. Choose the location on your computer you want to save the file.
  6. Click Save

Export Members to Timothy (for Circuit Overseers)

  1. Select Members
  2. Click Members > Export button.
  3. Under Export, click To Timothy file.
  4. Choose the location on your computer you want to save the file.
  5. Click Save
    • Note: This file can then be sent to your Circuit Overseer for importing into Timothy.

Export Members to Circuit Assistant (for Circuit Overseers)

  1. Select Members view
  2. Click Members > Export button.
  3. Under Export, click To Circuit Assistant file.
  4. Choose the location on your computer you want to save the file.
  5. Click Save
    • Note: This file can then be sent to your Circuit Overseer for importing into Circuit Assistant.
